The end is only the beginning; how social entrepreneurs are building a better world by reinventing themselves for good.
My interest then, in creating podcasts and turning these stories into my book, was to tell my story and the stories of others who made the pivot, or the “pivot” was made for them, a decision to leave their current employment or enter the workforce, in a desire (or necessity) to find meaningful work. And to help boomers and millennials find meaningful work meant helping people realize through the stories and journeys of others, how they too could reinvent themselves for good, for good. Through the stories and the eyes of others, in their own voices, I desperately wanted to provide people with a hopeful narrative. But more than that, I wanted to provide the road map, the recipe, the insight into how others have made the leap. I am determined to demonstrate, through the stories of the colleagues, that there is a way to use your; intelligence, your experience, your passion, in a way not to be defined by others, or your wealth or lack of it, by your age (young or old). I will connect you with the whole universe of people, institutions, social enterprises, governments, places of worship, healthcare providers – all doing good, who need your particular set of abilities to help them.
Reinvent Yourself For Good, For Good then must be the guidebook for all of us who have something to give: skills, intellect, empathy, knowledge, experience and or passion, who now want to do good, to be changemakers, social entrepreneurs - change the world for good!
