After 30 years of managing large technology consultancies, Dr. Doric Earle reinvented himself and now is dedicated to helping communities, social enterprises and entrepreneurs achieve collaborative, engaging and sustainable solutions.
Social impact is integrated into all of his work, including his co-founded, community-based real estate platform the Dallas Unity Fund LLC and several nonprofits such as Frazier Revitalization, Bridge Lacrosse, Green Careers Dallas, and Miles of Freedom. His consultancy, Forward Planning LLC, is pursuing development of a retail entrepreneur storefront (The Hatchery), aimed at launching small, local retail enterprises in a shared space, with back-office and other mentoring support. In addition, Earle is also working with several community partners including Foward Planning, Reinvent4Good, Restorative Farms, BigTex Urban Farms and Frazier Revitalization to create an urban agriculture system to support and manage community garden projects such as DART Hatcher Station Community Garden Training Farm. I also teach Social Entrepreneurship/Social Impact & Finance For Communications Majors at SMU.
